Spynamics Head Positions:

We recommend to use the Spynamics Spine Aligner!

1. Acupressure Therapy on Bladder Meridian Point BL 10:

Place the head onto the Spine Aligner with the occiput area at the two humps of the tool. The Spine Aligner can be placed pointing upwards (head) or downwards (feet), just try yourself!

Cervical spine decompression position:

To relax and decompress (= gentle stretch) the cervical spine the backside of the head is placed onto the Spynamics Spine Aligner humps exactly where the back-muscles attach to the scull (occiput) in lying on the back position on the floor (mat).

First the legs (knees) are bended until the correct position of the Aligner on the head is found. Then the legs are straightened slowly to achieve a gentle stretch at the neck. >> Note: Keep the feet on the floor and slowly slide legs to a straight possition, do not lift feet in order to keep muscles relaxed! There will be an increase in the pressure force of the humps of the Spine Aligner at the contact point of the head that should not cause too much discomfort.

>> Note: Keep the feet on the floor and slowly slide legs to a straight possition, do not lift feet in order to keep muscles relaxed!

This decompression (stretch) of the cervical spine is gentle and safe compared to the NOT recommended use of too large tools or gadgets or pillows that may worsen the forward head position of the neck.

Unfortunately theses tools feel often relaxing in the beginning due to the fast stretch of the neck muscles and the pressure onto the occiput so the stress onto the cervical spine is not noticed. This usually changes if the time of use gets too long, i.e. more than 10 minutes, one often starts to feel this stress. So if you decide to try these tools make sure to only use it shortly and it is recommended to do the DORN neck selfhelp exercises afterwards! see: www.dorn-selfhelp.org

(see picture below)

More and more people and unfortunately most teenagers develop this condition and put an enormous stress onto the neck that cause the appearance of a hump between neck and thoracics spine together with constantly tensed muscles that contributes to headaches and many other problems. So it is important to be aware of good sitting habits and the bad head down positions while looking onto the smartphone or tablet displays.

> Maybe the extended use of smartphones is not so smart !

There are also different head positions possible when using the Spynamics Sacro Aligner:

1. Acupressure Therapy on Bladder Meridian Point BL 10:

Simply rest the head onto the aligner with the occiput at the humps and the skull in the cradle
(see photo). Stay there as long as you feel comfortable and we recommend a few minutes but not longer than 15 minutes to avoid discomfort.

2. Still Point Position:

We recommend to use the Spynamics Spine Aligner!

The Spynamics Spine Aligner or the Sacro Aligner provides suboccipital inhibition which produces a relaxation in the deep suboccipital muscles that are often the culprits in many cases of headaches and migraine.

To achieve this simply rest the head onto the aligner in-between the ears.

Relax, breathe normal and stay there for approx. 3 to 10 minutes.

Do this maximum twice daily.

This is similar to a still point like in some cranio-sacral treatments.

This is also an excellent migraine therapy!
